:bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance::bunnydance:my Fluffy wants a friend but i dont want 2000000000000rabbits.:):colors:

Get a male and have Fluffy spayed and the maleneutered. If Fluffy is a female, she really needs to be spayed anyways. Two spayed females can usually get along just fine as well, pendingthey are bonded properly.

Best to read up on Bonding Bunnies in the 101 section.

:yeahthat

My females like other males but hate other females. I have a Netherlanddwarf female who will go after My flemish giant female. Mindyou she gets alon with my other males.

Yes / No / Maybe....

I had two brothers (Netherland Dwarfs) that loved each other tillpuberty - then they hated each other and fought 90% of the time - evenafter being neutered.

Yet I have some lionhead bucks that have shared a cage even whileunneutered (they were sickies and getting meds, etc) and they got alongfine and got depressed when they were separated...

My point? I'd get one male - get him neutered...and then take him to pick out a friend..

Moving this to the Rabbits Only section, as it's not really a Rabbitry subject. :)

I don't think this works. My two males got along fine forabout a week and suddenly I had big, big fights that I'm even scared toseparate them. They now live in separate cages andI don't let both of them out at the same time.

The reason I have Bandit is because him and hisbrother constantly faught all the time. They didn't at firstthough. But then they were both Neutered and they stillcontinued to fight....So Bandit came to live with me

The most likely pairing to work is both altered male/female

Then 2 spayed females

Then 2 neutered males

But actually all can work:), I actually have 2 bonded unspayed females, though that's a bit different as they are sisters. They are 2 be spayedsoon, and I will add 2 more into the mix!:bunnydance:

It's important to remember that rabbits havepersonalities and some will simply not like certain otherrabbits. Spay/neuter helps a lot, but it's still a very goodidea to have your rabbit meet other spayed/neutered rabbits at a rescueso you can choose a second rabbit she'll actually get along with.

And do read up on bonding in the thread MBH provided.
