I have a female Jersey Wooly named Penelope that I've had for about 5 months now. When I first go her she had a squeaky noise in her nose- sounds like when you rub to rubber balloons together. I contacted the breeder and she said that "flat faced" rabbits have sometimes flap in their nasal passages that causes a noise. She also sneezed once in a while- seemed sensitive to hay dust- like when you put fresh hay in her cage - if she dove into it she would sneeze. I never saw a discharge until two days ago, she was sneezing more than normal and I looked at her nose and there was a glob of whitish mucus. She was also making the squeaky noise in her nose and when I held her to my ear I could hear congestion. Next day she sneezed again and I quickly wiped it with my finger and saw a glob of whitish snot again. I listened to her breath and swear I heard rattling. So, I took her to the vet the next day and told him about the squeaky noise - and the whitish snot- and he listened to her breath and-- she did not make her usual squeaky nose sounds and she did not sound congested to the vet- he thought he heard a faint clicking noise but saw nothing like white snot in her nose and didn't think she was showing true signs of illness- so did not think she should be treated with antibiotics. I think my vet thinks I am imagining things- But I really think I saw white snot- I wonder if I should take her to the specialist vet- 2 hr drive away- and get another opinion. Or do you think I am just imagining things? I have other rabbits so I don't want any of my rabbits to carry something that might spread to the others.

White discharge would indicate a URI. You could try a different vet and they may prescribe antibiotics, or just wait for any symptoms to return.
