Our male 5 months old mini lop was in animal shelter overnight. When we got him we noticed a sticky material on his head. I couldn't clean it and it's not going away.

Does it look like infection or a minor cut/bruise?

Apologies, I am a new pet owner and still learning a lot.

Maybe motor oil or some other fluid from the underside of a car? Blood or pus would eventually dry hard and not stay fluid and sticky. If you aren't sure or are still concerned, best to consult with a knowledgeable rabbit vet.
