Deodorizing Crystals

I'm wondering if anyone has any information about using deodorizing crystals around your rabbits? My understanding is that the crystals CAN be harmful to your rabbit if digested but what about if it is around the rabbit? Are the crystals even worth purchasing?

very vague! it says to click on more information concerning rabbits but this section is no help at all! personally i'd be worried that my buns or dogs might eat them given how close you have to hang the packet.

hopefully someone on the forum will have tried them and can give feedback - good or bad

Zeolite is a mineral used in absorbents. Its kind of similar to activated charcoal.

Zeolite can be used in aquariums and its also used as a feed additive in livestock. I dont' think a rabbit would try to eat it though, as its like a rock. It feels like a lava rock, hard and sharp. I dont' think a rabbit would want to bite it, let alone eat it.

From reading that product link it says it "cleans" 600sq/ft, so if you get it, don't put it in the cage where the rabbit can reach it.

Google Zeolite and it should give you the info you need.
