dandruff or mites?

ok help. So i was brushing my bun and noticed at the end of the hair were little white things. I feel like his fur has always looked like this when i brush him but I've noticed a lot of them and its freaking me out. I really cant afford to take him to the vet but will if need be. thanks btw he's eating and acting normal

Do you live somewhere dry? I know my skin right now is cracking and bleeding ALL over (where I live, winter is rough on the skin and hair). Could that be the issue? What's his diet like?

Dandruff is most commonly a sign of mites.

How does the skin look where you see the dandruff? Where exactly on the body do you see it? Could just be dry skin, could be mites. With mites you'll start seeing the rabbit scratching and maybe some 'dirt'. Scabs may appear. Typically, if it's mites you see the dandruff between the shoulder blades/back of neck.
