Today is such a special day! Today marks one year that I adopted Dallas from http://www.3bunnies.org Dallas Rescue PageThis is the day he made the drive home to his family. He cuddled with his new friend and was not one bit afraid. He hopped out and made himself at home. No doubt in his mind that he was loved and part of a family who wanted him.
Dallas became Dallas Jinx Jones, Lop Lord of the Zoo Crew. By the second day I could not part him and his lady friend. They were bonded and had little use for us mere humans. We had to cover the pen they were in because he would jump out. Block the door because he figured how to unlock it. He let us know very clearly that he would not tolerate insubordination. With stomps, charging and biting. Don't worry he has no teeth.
With his influence Teresa started coming out of her shell. She became so much more active but was still pretty tentative of us humans.
A few months later I was able to bond Connor to the duo and made a trio. With him bonding to them it seemed to unleash the chains that held them back from us. Dallas now jumps up on the couch demanding attention. He will crawl all over you. He will run over to you demanding to be picked up. He loves to climb up and sit on your head.
Dallas from the moment you hopped out of the carrier at Grandmas house I knew my heart was right you were meant to be part of our lives. It is something I will never regret. You are the Little Lop Lord who rules our hearts.
