Hello, so I have been told by the breeder that Jade's colouring is Silver Fox, but I do want a second opinion? She is a purebred Netherland Dwarf doe.

Anyone can help?

If there is an orange or beige tinge than definitely a black otter but if not and belly fur, ticking, nose, chin, behind ears and all should be white.

Didn't see the orange patch behind the ears, so you can rule out Black Otter. Our little boy Stewart was one and his coloring was quite a bit darker. There is a color chart here in the library you can consult too. Very cute, congrats.

Silver Fox is a breed, not a color.

She looks to be either black otter or chocolate otter. This would be if the lacing around her head, ears, nose is tan and the rest of her coat is either black or brown. But if the breeder was using the term "silver," perhaps she meant silver marten. In that case, the coat would be black or brown with white lacing.

It'd be better to post a picture of her belly and back of her neck in natural light with no filters to determine if she's black otter or black silver marten.

Agree with Julie silver fox is a breed and she looks nothing like one. Silver marten and even fox by itself are colors.
