Hi!

I've built a new cage for my rabbits.
Originally the cage was a closet.

Here's some pics:

I hope my rabbits will become bestfriends so that they can stay in the cage togheter during the nighttime.

wow, thats such an awesome idea!!!! That cage is really cool. What did you use as the flooring in it? How many bunnies will be living in it? what did you use as the ladders?

As flooring I used doormats that I cut into fitting pieces.
I can take them out and clean them when needed
My rabbits will have a litterbox in the cage.

Two bunnies will be using this cage.
My two adorable fluffy Lionheads.
I'm considering adding another level.

The ladders is made of wooden planks.
I glued doormats on the surface

I improvised a lot when I built this cage.

Thanks I didn't improvise everything, but the inside of the cage was mostly improvised

I absolutely LOVE the Cage idea and I am looking for new ideas for my bunnies' new cage as well. I am moving in a few days and this just shows that anything is possible. Thank you for sharing.

The great thing about closet cages is that it fits in with the surroundings in the room.
My cage is in my living room, so I wanted to make it look more like a furniture than a cage.
Maybe I'll post a picture of the whole cage in a few days.

I have to say: for the first time, I went to my boyfriend's new house yesterday to look at the inside. He's moving in completely by this Wednesday. After seeing your awesome closet cage, I saw his new closet and imediately starting thinking how perfect it is for a closet cage! I may have to make one in the future. Thanks for the idea!
