Can They Eat?

Hey, Just a quick question, wasn't 100% sure if Rabbits can eat Cabbage?

I have the list of Suggested Veggies and Poisoneous Veggies, butCabbage is on neither, and can't seem to find a place that has cabbageon it.

Cabbage is not poisonous but it does tend to upset bunny tummies andcause a lot of gas problems. So it's not recommended and isusually on the "bad but not poisonous" list.

I will give wiley a small little peice of redcabbage when I have it. He loves the stuff and I have not had problems.Some bunnies react differently to it though. Have you read the HouseRabbit Handbook? They have a great list of veggies and everything elseabout bunnies in there.
