Bennett's been off the baytril for about a week now and I noticed tonight his eye is tearing again. He's squinting it and I found a white spot on his conjunctiva like last time.
Definitely calling the vet tomorrow for some more baytril or somethign stronger if they'll give it to me. Hopefully we can get it without having to go in for a visit.
In the meantime, since he's squinty and appears a little uncomfortable, can I give him some children's benadryl? I've heard of people here using it. I just want him to be comfortable through the night. How much could I give him? THanks for prompt replies!!

It seems that benadryl can be used for rabbits but the experts (kathy Smith and medirabbit) are not giving out dosages but refer people totheir veterinarians. I have never used this drug for them and really can't advise you.
Does he have other symptoms other than tearing?
