I WILL master taking pictures of babies. Some day. LOL Until then, here are updated pictures of the Cal babies. They are much nicer in person than my crappy pictures. It's really hard to take pictures of them by myself.

Here's Abby, the smaller of the 2 does.

And Zhiva, the nicest of the 3, I think. I couldn't remove my hand so you could see her head, because she instantly moved (even more so than the rest).

And this is Agent Gibbs, who will be her replacement herd buck.

Thanks, guys. Very excited about these babies, but we'll have to see how they do on the show table in a few months. But right now, they're looking good. :)

Mon, that's my daughter's thing. I can't stand that show. LOL

Well, Zhiva is the only that's close to being posed. The others moved their heads up (and Abby's legs aren't where they belong). But she's a few ounces heavier, and appears broader.

The sire weighs in at 11.5. He's massive. You couldn't pick him up by the scruff of the neck if you wanted, because there is none. Twila is just about as thick. So far, this cross seems to be working. Obviously we won't know for sure for months, and get them on the table. But we're both eager to see.
