Hi! I have a female mini Rex who seems to have a prolapsed third eye lid. I noticed it this morning. I’m not sure if that is exactly what it is but it looks a lot like cherry eye. She is a rescue bunny I raised Her from the time she was a day old. She doesn’t live with any other rabbits. She did go into heat yesterday, I was thinking it could have been caused from stress. she seems to be very healthy and happy. No slowed breathing or fast breathing, she is licking me like crazy! she can’t completely close her one eye and it looks like her eye may be getting a little runny.

Rabbits don't go into heats, so what makes you say that? If she is bleeding or swollen that is concerning.
She needs to see a rabbit savvy vet as soon as possible. You should never mess with eyes or let eye problems wait.
They do have a cycle they do not bleed or anything but they do have periods of time a breeder would have the best of having a rabbit get pregnant. i said this because she was very stressed out yesterday because of it. i am planing on taking her to the vet as soon as Possible I just wanted to get some peoples thoughts.

That doesn't necessarily look like a prolapse to me, but more bulging of the third eyelid. This can sometimes happen when a rabbit is stressed and will go away when they calm down. But if it is happening all of the time, most of the time, and/or especially if it seems to be worse when your rabbits head is lowered, this can indicate heart problems or possibly a mass in the chest(thymoma). Or it could just be a prolapse. Regardless of cause, this would require getting your rabbit checked by an experienced rabbit vet right away.

Thank you for the information, I haven’t noticed it getting larger or worse when she lowers her head. I did try and examine the rest of her eye and it’s very red and inflamed underneath her upper eye lid.

Update!
the bunny is doing much better her eye problem has gone down. She does have a little cutfrom scratching it. I am using colodial silver to wash out any built up bacteria on 3rd eye lid. I seems to be work well as I expected. :)
