Hi everyone!

Today marks either day 31 or 27 of my mini lops’ accidental breeding. I’m leaning towards day 27, because I think I caught them quickly the first time, but then after separating them, discovered Skipper could jump the wall between them, and spent a night and work day on Piper’s side.

I work during the day but live very close, so my husband has set up a bunny cam for me so I can watch what’s up and pop home if Piper has the babies while I am out.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on if her behaviour gives any hints to you guys if she is/isn’t pregnant, and also if her set up looks okay for kindling, and just in general. The camera is set up on the wall that divides the cage in half, but you can see most of what she has access to, other than the litter box, hay rack, and the door to get in and out.

I plan to keep the camera going until the babies are born and are 8weeks or so, or until we determine she isn’t pregnant.

Any advice is appreciated!
Lori.

Hey, I heard you have a great cage! The link is broken again!

The link changes if the stream drops, which happens a lot, unfortunately! Here’s the link to the channel, so you can check for the stream that’s live:

We are in the planning phase of adding a second level to the cage, very exciting! Now I have to decide if the bunny cam goes on the top floor or the bottom floor though, haha!
