Rosie's cage is on our screened in porch, and it's meant to be outdoor cage so it has a screen for the floor. I put down a plastic mat but it's slippery so I put newspaper down over that. The problem is that Rosie keep tearing up the newspaper so I have to change it like 5 times every day. What else can I use that Rosie can't chew up?

i think i've heard some one say they use place mats from walmart. i'm trying to think, i believe it was the straw ones that were being used. you could also use some linoleum flooring.

that being said, could you get some heavy duty wire cutters and cut it out? you'd have to file down the edges or something, but then she could shed the newspaper and it wouldn't matter:biggrin2:.
