Hi, worried rabbit owner here. Earlier I went in to check on my buns and check them over in general when I came to gingers foot. His poor toe on his hind leg is sticking out funny and I think it’s broken and don’t know what to do?! I have no idea how he managed to do it but I think he’s caught his nail ( weren’t that long) and took some off, resulting in his toe going off into a strange position. I’m just wondering what’s the best thing to do in the situation? He’s showing no pain(I know they’re good at hiding it) but he’s binkying flopping eating and pooping like usual and doesn’t show any change in behaviour. There isn’t even a limp?! Please help and suggest what I should do. Is it wise to take him to the vet? Or do I let it heal on it’s own as I read that there’s nothing they can really do for a broken toe?
