Broken Bone

My friend has a 6 year old bunny and it broke it's paw when he was maybe 3 years old. Can she still get help for him, her mom won't take th bunny to the vet because she is allergic and the dad is always working form dawn to dusk. Is there anything I can do to help or are we past being able to help?

At this point not much can be done. Is the rabbit disabled now from the injury? There is nothing that can be done to fix the break but as it is an older bun there is most likely arthritis developed in the old injury....A vet would have to evaluate for issues like pain.

He is not disabled but he limps and nips at you if you try and touch it

After 3 years there should have been some development of scar tissue to try and support the area. Has he always been sensitive of the old injury or is this a more recent development?

He has always been very sensitive to the injury

Way too late. It would need surgery and then recovery time. I would try to work with him on being friendlier.
