I anyone else looking forward to the Borat movie?

Borat is a character from the Ali G Show. He pretends to be a reporterfrom Kazakhstan who is visiting other countries and putting togetherreports to educate his people about the ways of other countries. It'shilarious!

Here are some clips from the show:

I love the Ali G show, but I'm more of a fan of Ali G and his interviews.

I wonder about the movie and if it's more "reality" or scripted. I loveto see people's reactions who actually think he is from Kazakhstan.

My hubby actually saw somewhere that it wasfilmed as a documentary and they went back and got permission to usethe footage in the movie after the fact. I'm pretty sure the reactionsare real and genuine.

I saw it last weekend. It was so funny I couldntbreathe at some points. And Im pretty picky about movies. It wasseriously awesome.

Its been banned in Russia for being too offensive!!

Still havn't seen it yet, will soon though. I love Sacha Baron Cohen,he's hilarious! I loved when he did the miners one as Ali G. He askedthe guy "Iz it true that down in the mines there is an animal with thebody of a tiger and the head.. of an ant?"

The original ones were better, before everyone in the UK knew about him and he had to move onto America.

Well, I saw it this afternoon. It wasn't reallyas funny as I thought it would be, but it did have it's moments.Definitely wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 16, but who knows, maybe I'm just old fashioned.

Not as great as I thought it would be...but Istill laughed at some parts. Other parts I sat in disbelief with myhand over my mouth.

My favorite part was when he was talking to the feminists and called that one an old man. :laugh:I could have died!

My kids went to see it. My 16 year oldsaid it wasn't as funny as he thought it would be and he said it'sprobably not something that I would like (but who knows - I have awarped sense of humor LOL)
