Hi there

I've been cutting down some blackberry leaves/stems today. I was just wondering if the really thick stalksare safe to feed too? They had really tough thorns, so I dethorned them with a knife.. but are they safe to chew? I thought the bunnies might like to chew them. Wasn't sure if the older growth (still green though) was ok.

I would not feed them blackberry stems.:? if they are not used to eating them then he might get sick. and buns can't throw up so it might cause diarria.Hope this helped!

I don't see why thicker stems would cause any problems the thinner stems wouldn't. I just did a quick search and I'm not seeing anything mentioning that they would be dangerous. As long as they've been de-thorned I think it would be fine.
