Bald spot

Hello!

I have an 8 month old Dutch rabbit. He has a bald spot on the back/base of his neck. He isn't itching or rubbing it. He is very active and is eating well. The skin doesn't look irritated, red or flaky.

Any ideas what this could be?

It could be a really bad molt, some bunnies get bald spots during a molt. If the fur doesn't start to grow back in the next few days and you see crusty/flaky skin/dandruff, open sores or inflammation it could be fur mites and he should see a vet.
