I don't think he's a Hotot at all. He looks too big for a Dwarf Hotot and too small for a Blanc de Hotot. And he doesn't have the correct markings even of a mismarked Hotot. He's just a Charlie broken black; I'm leaning towards a Mini Rex or Rex mix, depending on how much he weighs.

This is a complete guess on my part, but he seems like a Hotot and Rex cross to me. He's very cute though!

He is honestly just a mix. His color is called broken black and that is the only for sure thing that can be said. Telling rabbit breeds are very hard unless there is a real identifier to a breed. So many breeds come in the color broken black so it could probably never be said what kind of rabbit he is
