This is about chickens! The chicken forum I go to, is a little slow right now. But this is pretty common knowledge stuff for people who aren't well, me. haha.
Anyway, with chickens you usually use Iodine, just like with rabbits because peroxide causes tissue damage and alcohol hurts.
Well, I only have one Iodine wipe and a bunch of other wipes.
The other ones are an antiseptic towelette thats ingredient is Benzalkonium Chloride, 0.13%, would that hurt? Would you use it on a rabbit or would it hurt?
I also have some Johnson&Johnson cleansing wipes that are water, SD Alcohol 40, Benzalkonium Chloride, Propylene Glycol. Would that one hurt? I think that one might because of the alcohol, unless its not that much alcohol?
(And yes, I've found that my personal first aid kit is lacking as well as my animals kit)
Or if the other antiseptic wipes aren't okay, just warm water and soap?
Its his comb thats injured, in case anyone knows anything about chickens.
Thanks guys! Oh and does anyone want any roosters? I have 5!
