Zeus is starting to go thru molting, I think. He's always shedding...lik a normal bun, I suppose.

He's a mini Holland Lop, black. I forget what it's called, each strand has two colors. He's white near the skin and it them turns black.

Anyway, I had to clean he bunnybum, as pills tend to stick to his fur, and then I was brushing him, as he has what I call, 'fuzzy butt'. I was pulling out small clumps...then I see there is a small bald spot, about 1/2 inch round. I hate to think I did this! but the hair was coming out with no effort! i was holding him loosly and he didn't budge to get away from me.

All his other behaviors are normal.

Is this normal????

Bald spots are totally normal when they're molting. Just don't remove any more fur near the bald spot.
