Right now I have two rabbits, both are altered and they're already bonded. The second rabbit came bonded with a male guinea pig. I've already arranged to adopt a spayed female guinea pig and I plan to move the pigs to their own enclosure.

Yesterday I found out about a neutered male rabbit who is looking for a home. He's the same age as my two rabbits. I do have a cage ready to use for quarantine before I introduce them. My two rabbits live in a huge CC condo and pen, so I think there would be enough room for a third.

Is it a good idea to bring in a third? Will a pair of bonded rabbits accept a new addition? Are rabbits happier in larger numbers? Or is it better for the rabbits to leave things as they are?
