I'm not surprised. This project was doomed from the get-go.I don't know what UVIC was thinking.There are rabbits languishing in shelters in Victoria and they think people will want to adopt feral rabbits?

What I find even more assinine is there's a vet in Victoria who approached the university and offered to perform vasectomies on the male rabbits (thus allowing them to keep their hormones to defend their territories, etc., yet not reproduce), even offered to do them for basically free,but the University said no.

Poor bunnies.
