    Narnia has gotten worse

I just got home and boy, am I happy to say, I think I've found an excellent vet! She used to raise angora rabbits and she was just wonderful with Narnia and Kundalini. (I brought Kundalini to see if she could determine whether or not she is spayed--She had a tech shave Kundalini's belly so she...

    Narnia has gotten worse

Thanks a lot. I've been pretty worried, so thanks for easing my mind a bit. She does get plenty of hay, but there are two rabbits in the cage and I haven't noticed how much she actually eats. At least it sounds like her illness is likely treatable. I'll let you know what the vet says :) Thanks...

    Narnia has gotten worse

Narnia will see a vet in the morning morning, but I was just wondering if anyone has experience with a bunny displaying simillar symptoms. Narnia is an intact female living with a neutered male. The male is healthy. Narnia has been a bit lethargic for a week, and I think she is breathing a bit...

    Help! Bunny fight?

To be more helpful, I opened up a photobucket account and uploaded some photos of the wound and their wet little butts here, if you would like to see: http://s885.photobucket.com/albums/ac51/fyrflyinajar/ Narnia actually has a few bites on her, but the largest one is nickel sized---It isn't...

    Help! Bunny fight?

Narnia is also the one with the larger wound between her shoulder blades. It is red but not swollen or oozing, and it is hardened over, if that helps?

Uh, I should add that Narnia looks very lethargic and Dusty is grooming her. Her nose is still twitchin though.

    Help! Bunny fight?

Thanks for sharing! I think NIC cages are beautiful and I always recommend rabbit owners build them rather than purchase tiny manufactured ones. --I just don't have the space to build one myself right now. The living room furniture would need to be re-arranged to accomodate a larger cage, for...

    Help! Bunny fight?

You guys are great--thank you so much! So, you think it is safe to put Dusty and Narnia back together tonight? I'll get the females spayed, but as far as contacting Kundalini's original owner, that is impossible. The reason I adopted her is because she was returned to a petstore three times...

    Help! Bunny fight?

When I came home today and greeted the furry inhabitants of the living room, I noticed that one of my rabbits (an unspade female named Narnia) had a patch of fur missing between her shoulder blades, and a dried bloody mass there, as if she'd either been bitten, or bit herself. Her bottom was...

New naughty bunny lies in his urine

ntloser wrote: It's possible he doesn't like the smell of the pine--I have two bunnies that have a cat litter box with a hood on it. I used to use Carefresh, which is an excellent scent-free litter that I think costs about the same amount as Feline Pine so you might give that a try. They love...

    Linolium for cage bottoms?

Honeypot: You make a good point! Dusty andNarnia ate almost a whole phone book this morning! They'd see looselinolium as a chew snack fore sure. Maherwoman: Good idea! It might work better for other peoples bunniesmore so than mine though, because Narnia scatters droppings here andthere which...

How hard do you think it would be to create a cage bottom (for a NIC cage) out of linolium?

    Balding

I work as a dog groomer in a Petsmartwhich happens to be right next to a vetrinarian. I haven't brought herin, but I described it to the vet and she said it sounded likeallergies because she's been surviving with it for so long. There was adangerous disease she mentioned (I am pretty sure it was...

    Balding

I have two bunnies, Dusty and Narnia, and I'verecently noticed Narnia loosing fur around the back of her neck andeven a little at the base of one ear. Her nose has also been crusty forat least two months. Dusty, who lives in the same cage, doesn't displayany signs of bad health. My thoughts on...

    Rabbit Tricks!

Hey'yas! I recently adopted a pigeon, of all things:bunny16:carrot and he led me to the desire to learn more about clicker training! I'm rapidly learning a lot through an email group of bird trainers who use clicker training as their primary method of teaching their animals. The first benefit I...
