    DQ?

It's pretty uncommon to break a toe on the hind foot, especially with those short nails.

    Unsure of breed

To an untrained eye, people will call just about any rabbit a rex. Rex are very unique rabbits since there fur is less than 5/8 inch. Your rabbit doesn't have a rex coat or even a half rex coat (a curlyish coat that occurs if one parent is rex) I would call her a Satin or simply a crossbred. Her...

    What would you do?

It's certainly worth a try. She has only missed once since you got her, it might have been bad luck. I would say try at least two more times. If she takes, but the babies aren't alive, still try again. The birth canal will be opened up and smoother.

    Updated My Website

I agree, less is more! You've mastered that aspect. On the litters page, you could make the parent thumbnails smaller. Try to fit each breed into one line. Very nice color scheme, easy to find what you're looking for =)

    HELP PLEASE sick rabbit

Are you sure it's blood? It's quite common for rabbits to have bright red urine, especially in colder temperatures.

7 week old wanting to mate his sister!!

They can stay together if you're in a pinch. Studies show that a buck's sperm is viable as early as 100 days, but in general their sperm isn't viable until 130 days old.

    Buck Breeding Question

Sperm isn't viable until 130 days. If they are bred young, they should only be bred to willing does. Sometimes if a youngster has a bad experience, he may shy away from breeding when he is fully mature.

What would you guys do in this situation?

wow, this is tricky. First, try doing some research, if they have a website perhaps, on a policy. If you find some you're in luck. Maybe you'll find a loop hole. If you don't find a policy, wait until you have a chance to see them at a show. Bring up to them about what you found, and then...

    Winter babies

For me, yes. My champions and top rabbits were all born in later fall-winter months. Since the ears are a rabbit's cooling mechanism, they grow long when it's hot.

    What breed is our Bunny?

He looks like a mix. The closest he may represent is the american sable, but the white paws make him unshowable.

    Gizmo was killed!

:cry2 I'm sorry gizmo! I know the risks. Why did I do it? We have used that enclosure for three years without problems. That's why it was so unexpected. We are are only letting them play in our enclosed porch now, which is very protected.

    show question

ARBA shows are usually only one day long. People generally arrive before 9 am and stay until 5 or 6. The die-hards help clean up and go out for dinner afterwards. Unlike fair, you aren't leaving them in a coop. You bring your own carriers for your rabbits to stay in for the day. No need to...

    show question

You can register a rabbit that is six months old, meets senior weight, has a full pedigree (including names weights tattoos and colors), and no DQs. The breeder needs to be a member of ARBA. For the most part, the only reason why you should register is if the rabbit has qualified for a Grand...

    show question

Taylor only has one pedigreed rabbit I believe. So the babies she sells are not fully pedigreed. She hasn't shown ARBA so I don't know how they've done in competition. As far as coat, you need to wait until the babies get their adult coats to tell.

    show question

John Soper did not judge the showmanship well. He told a leader that "If I give the champion to the girls who show arba, than they will stop studying. I'm giving it to the other kids who might not have a chance to win" It was rather insulting to get beat out by a novice when I did nothing wrong...

    show question

Almost all breeds have a variety or group. The group is based on the coat colors. Breeds such as the Jersey Wooly and the netherland dwarf can win Best of Group. It's award to the best shaded, broken, self etc. Variety is essentially the same award although there is only one variety such as...

    Doe giving birth right now.

Find a breeder and pay a stud fee to us a different buck. Anderson's right, if it doesn't work the third time, you should find new stock.

    Doe giving birth right now.

I would go with the three strikes and your out policy. Try one more time, and if the same thing happens, than you should find a new doe. You've picked a hard breed for both competing and breeding.
