Some mice help? Lil miss has an attitude problem!

I'm having a little mouse attitude issue... here we go. I got 2 pet mice about 6 months ago from my brother - he had bought them for his daughter (from petco of all places) and his wife freaked out so he was going to release them outside in the woods. *sigh* I told him I'd take them. I thought...

Would this cage work for a rabbit?

undergunfire wrote: Thanks, I didn't know what kind of cage it would be - and I knew chinchillas had been in it but didn't know how sturdy the levels were. Thanks! (Especially about the cleaning part, that's one of those things I forget about until its a pain to clean it everytime.)

    Spaying/Neutering Rabbits

You also might want to look around at humane societies to see if they do nuetering / spaying. The shelter I got Bill from nueters /spaysseveral Rabbits a day so they have a lot more experience than vets that only see rabbits once in awhile. They also charged less because it was more of a normal...

Would this cage work for a rabbit?

Would this cage work for a rabbit?

Yea, that would be the longest drop - its a foot and a half (18inches).

Would this cage work for a rabbit?

I already know about NIC cages - Bill actually already has a rather roomy cage - I just liked this for the levels. I'm not sure if a fall would really be possible - the levels kind of line up so the farthest he could fall would be to the next level and the distance between them is less than a...

Would this cage work for a rabbit?

I found this cage on craigslist - it is 57inches tall (nearly 5 feet), 17 inches deep and 30 inches wide. They are asking $60 for it. I thought Bill (who is 3lbs) would like the different levels and all that - I know a chinchilla can use it but do you think it would work for a rabbit? Here is...

    peter throws bowls

If you go in the petstore and look around where they have dog carriers / crates - there are usually bowls there that can attach to a cage - and they are plenty big. Bill throws his bowls too. I keep putting the food in there like a good bunny slave and then I just let him eat it off the floor.

He'll probably love the added bermuda grass and greens! I'm looking forward to getting to walk my bunny on a leash when it gets warmer, too.

    Chewing on Cage

    Chewing on Cage

I'm sure this has come up before - but any insights as to why Bill keeps chewing on his metal cage? He scratches at it too. He has a large cage with a large run - so he isn't trapped in there - he will even go in his cage when he has full run of the apartment just to chew on it! He has toys...

    Home from school because....

We don't get snow days here - they are jerks about going to school. Every school district would shut down except mine when I was in school. In 8 years we got one day off for weather. And that was because the roof blew off.

Humping: My Arms are NOT Female Rabbits!

When I was at the shelter picking out my rabbit I looked at one that humped like crazy. I sat on the ground and he ran right over and started humping my arm - she said that he humps all the girls every chance he gets - but none of the boys.

Night of the Lepus and other rabbit movies

Well... I doubt night of the Lepus is giving rabbits a bad name - maybe truck sized carniverous rabbits but... yea. I like the scenes where it is obviously just rabbits running around in a minature scene. Awful movie though, lol.
