How far down will rabbits burrow under a fence?

Hmmm..... It might be better just to take topsoil off down about a foot and concrete a layer with good drainage holes and replace topsoil and grass an area. I can see keeping them in could be as challenging as keeping predators out! :) Little Houdinis!!!!

How far down will rabbits burrow under a fence?

Hello Everyone :) If I wanted to fence a garden in especially for rabbits how deep must the underground part of the fence be to keep them from burrowing out? Does anyone know? Thanks so much. Chelle

    Do rabbits ever climb trees?

Thanks Flashy and Bo B Bunny! I will build everything as though they would try! :) Means the garden area will have to be fully caged above too.... bit more difficult around high trees... and expensive. Need to think about this. Really want to do it someway and not spend a fortune. Safety is an...

The branches are quite low and gently sloping. Is...

    RABBITS AND WATER...

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the replies. :) Thought that mostly the response would be negetive. I also suspected they could not be happy until I saw the grey rabbit in the bath under the tap ...... so decided to ask here what people had experienced. Saw this one later in the day...

Hello Everyone, I have been trying to learn as much as possible about rabbits before I get my own French Angoras. By accident I saw these videos on You Tube and wondered if anyone had experience with this? Do they really love water as this shows? It would be a marvellous way to keep them cool...

I am very, very keen to get some French angoras and trying to locate them here in SA. At the moment I am building some stairs up to my washlines to avoid using the dryer so much and I want to build an earthworm farm against them in the shade of a tree. I was thinking I could build a very nice...
