    Who are your famous connections?

I'm related somehow to Jessie James. . . I can't remember the whole story but I'm going to see my family later on today so I'll try to remember to ask.

    My flock!

The bare eyes are smaller then Umbrellas but bigger then goffins. They are really close to the same size as my red lored amazon. They are really dusty birds, that's for sure! I know exactly the white marks you are talking about! I try to remember to not wear black around my guys. The toys in...

    My flock!

kherrmann3 wrote: When it comes to parrots, Toos are without a doubt the most high maintenance of them all. Not only are my pair both velcro birds, they have no clue that they are birds so they are constantly trying to mate with one of us. The M2's are gorgeous but they are also just about as...

    Just a few nutrition Questions. . .

Acorn is always in the bird room cleaning up after them. I really don't think that there is anything in their food that could hurt him but I figured I would check with you guys, here are the ingredients. "ground corn, soybean meal, cracked wheat, wheat germ meal, vegetable oil, sucrose...

    My flock!

Kind of, Sydney and Sky, the Too's would rather sit and cuddle with me then just about anything else. They are very hormonal right now though and I can't handle them much because they constantly, well try to mate with me. In a few months they should back to normal (well as normal as possible for...

    My flock!

I just realized those pictures are HUGE! Sorry about that, I'll try to make them smaller. Oh and about the loud thing, it's really nothing like you would think. They do make quite a bit of noise at certain times of day and when people come into the house that they don't know but in general...

    My flock!

I thought I would introduce my flock to you all. These are my bare eyed cockatoos, they are around twenty and their favorite things to do are to dance and play peekaboo! Here's Sky playing with a monkey Here they are grooming eachother. These are my amazons, Peppers is a...

    Umm, not exactly new. . . .

But I haven't been around in forever so I thought I would come back here first. . . . I actually just got an email from a member here and I have to admit, I was a bit surprised anyone even remembers me! Anyway, things have changed a bunch for me since I was here last. Acorn is now my only...

    RIP my sweet Lilly

Lilly, I just turned on my camera for the first time since you left me. . . the first thing I saw were the last couple of pictures I have of you. From right before I left, when you were getting your cuddle time in on the couch. . . It's amazing the transformation you went through in the very...

    RIP my sweet Lilly

I know that I shouldn't blame myself. I know that most likely, even if I was here, there would have been nothing I could have done. . . .but none of that is helping. The not knowing what happened is killing me. I'm here. . . barely. Lilly was my only cuddle bunny out of the three, she had been...

Do I need to take the boys to the vet?

I set up an appointment for them tomorrow. She doesn't really think it's necessary considering the health issues we already knew Lilly had when I got her but I would rather be safe then sorry and I would never forgive myself if I don't get them checked out and something happened to them too.

    RIP my sweet Lilly

Bo, she was around 3. It's very possible she had a heart problem that we did not catch. We know she had other problems from her breeding. Her wool was very poor quality and her spine had a curve either from her breeding or from the conditions she was kept in before I got her. She was doing soo...

Do I need to take the boys to the vet?

If you read my RB thread, you know that Lilly passed away unexpectedly while I was on vacation and I have no idea why. I am really worried about the boys since I couldn't have a necropsy done on her. . . . They were acting completely normal last night but that doesn't mean nothing is wrong...
