How to tell if rabbit has broken bone?

Well, he seems to be doing alright. He has no change in habits or general hyperactivity, (He's still jumping around in the cage and using all feet.) I checked his front teeth, they seem to be alright, although i am no vet. He is eating though, which probably means his teeth are fine. The reason...

How to tell if rabbit has broken bone?

My rabbit is a very squirmy one. I had him outside running and playing, and as the sun was going down i picked him up, and he jumped out of my arms and landed on the lawn. I think I was about 2-3 feet up. This made me worry. He is a little worked up, but doesn't seem to be hurt. He's using all...

    Is he throwing up?

I came down today to see my rabbit, and i see a little bit of mushy pellets in his bowl. no more than a tablespoon. It doesn't look like moist pellets, because it is mushy, chewed up even. The odd thing is i switched to a new food this morning. It had the Kaytee logo on it, looked like the...

    what sounds are normal?

I know i am a bit of an annoyance, but i am really paranoid about my little bun. :D It seems every time i let him run around his inside kinda bubble. Notfor long, it sounds like an empty stomach. The thing is, i feed himwell. In fact, he has grown quite a bit these past 3 weeks. But the...

    Poop not looking normal?

We gave his some lettuce about a week ago. I did not know about this, and i informed my family that lettuce is off limits. But no, it couldn't be any veggies, its been too long since his lastones. Just hay/pellets. I give him the pellets with dried carrots andstuff in it...could that be a...

    Poop not looking normal?

uh oh..i changed little Dusty's whole cage out yesterday, and i camehome to more of those dreadful poops. Enough to get me to post apicture, I am worried sick. What to do? I know the camera takes horrible pictures, but the bad poop is in the middle with a few normal ones to measure size.

    Poop not looking normal?

I wouldn't say they look like grapes, theyaren't that big. They are sparse among the other poops in his cage, onein 30 i would say. also, thats good to know naturestee. I will try to remove the barkbites and lower his food intake a little bit to see if that helps.

    Poop not looking normal?

It seems to me that sometimes (maybe a few timesa week) that little Dusty will poop out little blacker cydrilical poopsthat are about 1-2 cm in length.. blacker than normal poops with cracksin it. Don't get me wrong, he also poops just fine, but these arestarting to worry me. My best guess is...

    Too big a house??

I'd say it would be best if you keep an eye onher behavior for the next few days and if you really feel bad about herbeing lonely, you might get her a companion. Or you could try providing more entertainment. Just a though. :nod

uh oh. 2 problems, need help!

The aquarium is not what you think, I don't have a lid on it, so it's basically a box made of glass with no top. I will try to figure out a way to get some padding in the large hutch. I tried putting a bowl in with him, and the first thing he did was put his feet in it. :? I don't think he...

uh oh. 2 problems, need help!

As some of you know already, my newest rabbit isonly a month or 2 old, so the hutch we have set up for him can't reallybe used. His feet might protrude through the wire, causing injury. Wehave a decent sized aquarium for him, complete with litter box. Itsjust that he is almost big enough to get...
