    Ear wax or ear mites?

Update: the vet gave us anti-parasitic medicine to give him and also an ear cleaner for the wax :) changed his whole living area and sterilized/disinfected the whole room he stays in. He has two more treatments to do ever 21 days and he should be good by then!

    Ear wax or ear mites?

Yes! I have an appointment. How do ear mites happen exactly? He’s the only bunny I have and he’s a free roam and never goes outside. I won’t touch the wax in his ears as I have an appointment soon and I want them to see it. Thank you for the advice!

    Ear wax or ear mites?

Hello, today while I was combing my bunny I did my usually inspection of his body and notices his ears were a bit dry on the edges and proceeded to look inside his ear where I saw a tiny bit of ear wax. I went on google but everywhere was telling me that it’s ear mites. I don’t know if it is ear...

Pink sores on my bunnies feet

Pink sores on my bunnies feet

Oh these are very minor and actually very common! Most bunnies do develop calluses, just make sure her flooring is kept nice and comfy and keep monitoring them because you don’t want them to turn red but rather stay a light pink!

Pink sores on my bunnies feet

Yeah they’re a pretty light pink but I don’t want them to get worst so I’ve been putting small amounts of Vaseline to keep them hydrated and lots of fleece covers so that he always has somewhere soft to rest

Pink sores on my bunnies feet

I know what you mean! Luckily my parents always listen to me and make vet appointments as soon as possible. Definitely soften up his flooring and put some Vaseline to make sure they don’t crack and start bleeding! And keep monitoring them!

Hey guys I have a Netherland dwarf bunny Named peanut who seems a bit prone to getting calluses in his hind feet.
