    Broken leg...options?

Sorry to hear. My rabbit just broke his leg last Tuesday and it's been really stressful. It's a new experience for me too so I don't have much insight to give. I hope it works out for her.

Have not posted in years. Little guy broke his leg.

It's funny you mention that as I was just starting to use the hose when it happened. I've basically decided to use the small hand-vacuum in the kitchen from now on. Again, it's still kind of weird since he's never shown much fear over it before but...I guess a fright is a fright for them. He...

Have not posted in years. Little guy broke his leg.

What a week it's been. My little friend got spooked by the vacuum(which is a bit odd since I use it all the time) and somehow in his freakout broke his back left leg. Feel awful since it took me a day to notice. I was more concerned that he scared himself so bad he would get frightened to death...

Clumps of hair coming off bunny.

Interesting. Yeah he's totally fine I think and today continued the incredible hot streak in Toronto. It's quite incredible how even a little loss of fur can show you how much weight it adds to them. Like cats or dogs when they get their hair cut.

Clumps of hair coming off bunny.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Well today was a record high for Toronto in January after a pretty harsh cold-spell! But he's kept indoors.

Clumps of hair coming off bunny.

Two and a half years.Maybe it is just shedding but it's never come off quite as easy and in such large chunks. Again though, there's no real change in his behaviour. Same routine as usual. I have to run ot work soon but tomorrow morning maybe I'll take a picture and everyone can get a better...

Clumps of hair coming off bunny.

It looks like there is smaller hair underneath the area where the hair has come off. You can't really see the skin, thereare a still really short, really tiny hairs. He's around three. I'm not too sure what kind of rabbit he is but he looks like this: He never gets sick...

Clumps of hair coming off bunny.

I just noticed my little guy has a line of missing hair on his back and the hair around it comes out really easy as well. I've not noticed anything else wrong with him. He's been acting the same. He sheds but it never seemed to come out this easy before!

    Loose stool

Kind of looks like human 'logs.' Just a couple times. Still mostly pellets. Still his usual self it appears.

    Bunny thumping.

Iwoke upearly this morning,on a work day mind you, to the sound of my guy thumping. It was weirdthough. I kind of thought it was meant to be like a rapid banging butit was more like....a war drum or something. About every 15 seconds hewould pull back one of his hind legs and really give'er...

Using litter box as a bed

Daytime chill area in the litterbox for my guy. He does his business in another corner. In fact, I don't even know why I still have the darn thing in there. Oh well, I guess he likes it.

Well I got an estimate today so it's only amatter of time. Little does he know. I say this gazing at at least 40poops it took him about...oh 5 minutes out of his cage to create.

"he choose to sleep in his litterpan rather than poop or pee in it" Same here. It's his daytime hangout location.

My rabbit has un-toilet trained himself.

There were some good tips and interesting ideasin that link. However, I think you guys are right, it's time for hisboys to get chopped. I'm just worried that it will change hispersonality so much that it will be like having a different rabbit.

No. I think this may have something to do with it. But...I can't...I mean...I dunno.

My rabbit has un-toilet trained himself.

When I first got my rabbit he was trained. He could spend an hour or so out of the cage with no major accidents. A pellet or two here and there but for the most the part he would go in his chosen corner of the cage. Lately though it's almost as if the opposite is happening. It really seems...
