How can I get my rabbit to eat more hay?

introduce some fresh grass from outside, just make sure it is clean and not near any road sides or vehicles. My bunny would not touch hay, i gave him some fresh grass and now he eats all the hay he can get :)

Looking for Help Finding a Cage

Getting him spayed may help, he may be marking his territory because of the other rabbit. try putting multiple litter boxes in the corners that he sprays until he gets used to them and you can downsize. also would NOT recommend wire bottomed cages, bunnies feet are soft bottom, unlike a dog...

    litter box help

What is the best litter for a bun? I have tried that fresh care grey paper mulch like stuff, and I have tried shredded paper, I have heard yesterday's news is a good litter but no one around here sells it! as of right now i am using aspen bedding in his litter box, it prevents smell and is soft...

    Mr. Bunbun's nails

I clip my bunnys nails about once a month. I have noticed his front paws are normal, they grow, i clip them, but they stay pretty thin, not too thick. His back nails however I hardly have to clip at all other than just the sharp tip. His back nails don't grow too much past the quick, i can...

    Help me decide!

In my opinion it sounds like you have enough pets as it is. I couldn't imagine that you could possibly give enough attention when you already have 10 pets. I am sure they are all well taken care of simply because having that many requires a lot of money, with that said if you are going to get...

    sick bunny help!

Maybe it is something that they kind of have to wait out. It sounds pretty serious, have they done any tests? If you don't feel they are doing a correct diagnosis I would take him to a different vet and get a 2nd opinion just in case

New to the bunny world ;)

I completely agree with Azerane Bec - Mod at Large, the only thing I have to add is the cage. My bunny is a lion head half dwarf, so he is relatively small. But he needs lots of room, and since a Flemish giant is even bigger if the7y are going to be spending more time in a cage he needs either...

I measure out his pellets as directed on the bag. (Although sometime I give into that little fluffy face and give a little extra half scoop)

3 year old bun. no companion and doesn't eat hay

My lion head little buck came from a family that got him as a baby for a little girl on Easter. His coat is shiny , he eats lettuce, carrots, and other veggies, but he just won't eat hay hardly. When he does it's in little spirts. I've tried hay with mixins,Timothy hey,and vegright which is a...

    Mr.BunBun

I got Mr. Bun bun from someone who could not keep him due to living situations. He is about 3 years old. He is slightly skiddish, but very friendly, loves running around the house(supervised of course), and learning to use his potty.
