    pest control + rabbit

Thanks everyone!!! I will ask them and the pest control company. It's a pet friendly apartment, so I'd assume they have to be pet safe

having an issue with litter box training...

hes is neutered and is 1.5 years old. i guess i will just go get him another one to put in there (the reason i took the old one out was because he ate it lol - it was jut a large shoe box.) but yes, I've only been at it for like 2-3 weeks.

dog with high prey drive + rabbit

oh yes, they wouldn't ever be alone together. My dog is kenneled when I'm not home and my bunny is in his cage when I'm not home. all i want is for her to not pester him while he's in his cage. Luckily my husky/shepherd/whatever is very well-trained. she's a squirrel crack head, yet because of...

having an issue with litter box training...

okay, so i put two litter boxes in his cage as someone suggested because he was peeing on both sides of the cage. that worked great, and he only peed in the two boxes. but now when i tried taking one of them out, he still pees on that side. i even cleaned the area with vinegar-water solution )...

dog with high prey drive + rabbit

thanks for the support and advice guys! Glad to hear some people managed to train their pups, at least now i know it really is possible. I'm sure it will take her a very long time, but I'm definitely committed to getting them to accept each other. i probably won't ever let them alone together...

dog with high prey drive + rabbit

Hello! I have a husky/shepherd mix that loves to chase squirrels (very high prey drive in general). She is a rescue and was never socialized with small animals until she went to her foster home. There she lived with a cat and was making A LOT of progress (could be in the same room and not chase...

    What breed?

A guy posted an ad for his bunny on Craigslist. I was thinking about getting it, but he doesn't know what breed it is. I don't want a large breed. He said when he got her (Christmas) she was 3-6 months (so the pet store told them). Any ideas? Hotot maybe?

Rabbits and college? Sneaking a rabbit in?

Yeah, it's definitely an adjustment trying to live with someone else. a single room would be nice. and all the colleges that my friends go to and mine have kitchens... i think its pretty standard? (can't be certain, we might have all just been lucky haha). dining hall food is pretty gross, but...

Rabbits and college? Sneaking a rabbit in?

why would you chose your college based on your rabbits? rabbits aren't going to get you a good job, home, food, or clothing. you should pick a college that is going to give you the best opportunities... not one that lets you live off campus freshman year.

Rabbits and college? Sneaking a rabbit in?

let me add something. DO NOT just live off campus for your rabbits. If you live off campus it is MUCH harder to get involved and make friends. plus its cheaper to live on campus, at least at my university

Rabbits and college? Sneaking a rabbit in?

yep, I have mine in my dorm. My RA literal doesn't care.. he knows my rabbit is in here hahaha. But dorm rooms are A LOT smaller than you think... make sure you take measurements first and have a place to hide the cage. I disguised mine as a table, but now i lofted my bed so he chills under there...
