    Frontline = very bad idea

Interesting, the wording on the Sacramento House Rabbit Society's page would give you the impression that Frontline is okay, but Advantage is tried & true, plus easier to administer: http://www.allearssac.org/fleas.html

    Molar Malocclusion

Have you tried getting a second opinion? I've been taking my rabbit to have his top and bottom front teeth trimmed every 4 months for about 8 years now. I have never paid more than $30.00 for a trimming. It's never required anesthesia or aftercare either. Now, my prior bun did have to undergo...

Post Surgery Cleaniness - Need advice.

My bun had a massive bladder stone removed on August 5th. Up until today, he seemed to have his bowels under control and was pretty happy. However, today, when I picked him up, I found his hind legs, tail and even part of his back *soaked* in urine. I can't figure out how he got so much urine so...

    smelly pee?

Agree with the above. Sounds like what happened to my bunny. He also had a massive bladder stone. Did the vet take an x-ray?

My 10 year old bunny has a 2cm bladder stone... :(

Thank you LakeCondo. He's officially 10 days post-op and is doing really well. He found my pear popsicle interesting today. I only let him lick it a couple times, but it brought me so much joy to see him excited again. I am so happy we didn't put him down.

My 10 year old bunny has a 2cm bladder stone... :(

I was ready to let him go but my husband was against it. We went ahead with surgery almost 3 days ago. He survived surgery and is doing well so far. He comes home tomorrow. I understand the next two weeks will be critical, so I plan to spend every waking moment with him during his recovery. I...

    Rapid breathing and shaking

The bun sounds nervous and scared to me. My bun was also a rescue. He still pants and shakes around strangers. He's 10 years old, and I've had him for 9 years. He previously lived with small kids who mishandled him. Also, my bunny will shake and pant if he needs to use the bathroom, and can't...

My 10 year old bunny has a 2cm bladder stone... :(

Thank you for the replies. He is on pain meds right now. I just visited him at the vet. He was a totally different rabbit, but in a good way. I'm very confused now. He was so happy to see me. He tried to climb up my chest and cling to me when they put him on the table. He then started licking my...

My bunny in happier times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S475kxmzCU4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1susRf5IN50&feature=channel&list=UL Please send prayers this way. The hospital is refusing to do surgery now but I am demanding it.

My 10 year old bunny has a 2cm bladder stone... :(

Thanks for the replies. Sadly, my bun's condition has taken a turn for the very bad. The stone moved and is now blocking his urethra. He can't use the bathroom at all. He's lost 2kg in the last 24 hours. He has developed a bladder infection. He is very weak and the vet is concerned he won't...

My 10 year old bunny has a 2cm bladder stone... :(

As the title says, my 10 year old rabbit has a 2cm bladder stone. He is still able to urinate but must stretch his body when using the bathroom. He is also urinating all over the house, and on his back legs. Seeing him in this state is heartbreaking. His vet gave him some meds to help dissolve...
