    Toys??!

Paper Lunch Bags full of fun things. I stuff bags full of hey, mixed with a few treats like a baby carrot or two, some spinach leaves. Now I can't do this for Zombie yet. He's only 9 weeks old, but I do this for my guinea pigs. Zombie just gets a bag full of hay. But I know when he gets...

    Balls

Oh m'gosh, I just bought one of those cat-balls this weekend for Zombie. He loves it! He loves cat toys, but the size of this toy is perfect for him..and yes, it ends up in the water bowl more often then anything else. He's a basket ball fan, I guess?

    Bunny stickers

I love the idea of a craft section. I belong to a guinea pig board that has a section where people can sew little beds, or bedding or snuggly things for encloses. It would be great to have something like that here! Especially if it was per breed. Like the tiny bunnies and the big giant ones...

    My new baby flemmies!

Oh my goodness! I'm so jealous. They are adorable! I got my Zombie (Flemmie baby) when he was five weeks. He's almost nine weeks now and they really do grow over night. You'll be shocked. He's a house bunny and has outgrown his Medium size dog crate. This weekend, I'm just going to jump to an...

Bonded pair in SC (Willing to travel)

I'm really hoping for these two. If I hadn't just adopted Zombie , my Flemish baby, I'd have my hand raised so high to adopt these two, They are so cute. It's their eyes that melt my heart. Such personalities! So I'm sending out good thoughts and lots of hope!

    Questions for flemish giant owners

Zombie is my flemish. He's 5 weeks old, white with pink eyes. His story goes like this. I wanted wanted a flemish and found a breeder to be put on a list. We were talking off and on and he seemed so happy to know that I wanted one for a house bunny! So fast forward a few months and I get an...

    Melba toast?

They were very wrong. Timothy Hay is what really helps ware down the teeth. Out of all the grass hays, it has a corse texture. Also, fruit tree branches. I always like to use either apple, plum or pear tree branches.

    Melba toast?

I hate to do this to you and really don't want to guilt you in any way, but.. Please, if you still have guinea pigs or get any more in the future, do not give them any of those startchy things, either. No toast, rolls, or anything processed. Veggies, Timothy Hay, Pellets and a few crisp type...

    How Many Bunnies?

I had a jersey wooly (benny) up untill a few weeks ago when he passed away. Now, I have a Flemish Giant baby (five weeks old) named Zombie. All white, pink eyes and a really interesting story of how he got his name. His mom had burried him and his sibs deep in the ground and the breeder...

    Bunnies and Christmas :)

aww sounds cute! Benny Rabbit hasn't had his first Christmas yet, but for Thanks Giving, he got a special dinner at the same time my family ate. He got carrots, celery, and some spring mix. A slice of apple for dessert came at the same time we all settled down for some pumpkin pie! Let...

Oooo How do I list them all? Actually the ones I've been exposed to are.. Dutch (love how sweet and snuggly they can be) Minirex (love how smart those little buggers are!) French Angoras (love how laid back and 'chilled' they are. Push, they are so FLUFFY!) English Lops- (It's the ears...

1 word to describe your bunny/s!

Benny Rabbit (Don't call him BUNNY!..Sesame Street Reference)- is "Grouchy" He hates being carried anywhere and will grump, grind his teeth, snort and mutter the entire time. Take a seat, with him in your lap and he's all floppy and contented again. He just hates being carried around.

    Man Attacks Rabbit With Sword

I'm pretty proud of that "Dad"! Jumping in to save the bunny and protect his family. He's the hero. He tried to help his friend get out of the cold and in the end, he had to save the bunny and his life. Pretty cool guy , making no big deal about the slice to his hand either.

    Brown's Tropical Carnival Rabbit Food

I'm not a nutritional expert and might be a little 'jaded' here but I don't trust anything that says it has "blended vegs and fruits'. I don't know the process they use to dehydrate. I don't know what minerals and vits that process can deplete and what is 'added' to make up that depletion...

Are Jersey Woolies calm natured (for bunnies?)

Jersey Woolies-- All the research tells me they are sweet, affectionate and love to be handled.. all but one website that said they can be horrible to control and even sent one of the blogger's friend to the ER for stitches from bites. Anyone have experiences, good or bad, with Jersey Woolies?

Is this a "Summer of the Buck"?

So, I found a breeder that has Jersey Woolies for sale. He was happy to learn I want to get a buck. He said this summer he's been flooded with bucks. It seems that for every four kits, only one would be a doe. So now I'm wondering if other breeders have found this to be true this summer. Does...
