I'm going to put a 1/4 cup in the morning and see how fast he goes through that. I suspect that he is more about 4-5 lbs than 5-6 lbs. The scale was old and rusty and I don't think it was very accurate.

Thank-you. It is an open show. I'm glad you reminded me about clipping the nails. His back hocks are a little stained from my wood pellet litter. I guess I'll have a look at them tonight and see how dark they have become.

Thank-you very much. I think, as you said the sides are not high enough---and I'm putting way too much pellets in to it. I just didn't realize. Because he is trying and just going over the side and he is not spraying at all. I know where there is another litter box so I'll try that. Thanks!
