I adopted another bun :)

I went on the Michigan Humane Society's website.. and behold, I fould a wonderful looking Flemish Giant.

I've always wanted a flemie.

So I begged my mom, and she said no a million times.
So we went to see him and he is the sweetest thing. Loves to be pet. Licks me. So relaxed, and even let me hold him.

So I adopted him My parents finally said yesss.
He's 11 pounds, and 2 years old. I can't take him home yet though, cause of the fact he's not fixed yet.

20 bucks to get him fixed AND to get him.
His name was Pete, but it is now Silas...
So now I have Solara, Sabriel, and Silas
I will not be bonding him with the other two

I'm prepared to work my butt off to pay for the food and such he requires I have the money to pay for him and the cages though~

How are you going to find the space to house him? That is one bigggggg guy.

He is so sweet And I have a two story house.. plus my room is like ginormous. He's got enough room My house was meant for big buns! XD

Nope, Donna. My mom and dad were STRONGLY against me getting another bun... but I'm spoiled and made a really good argument on why I should be allowed to get him My mom said "If you ask for another rabbit I'm going to fight you. NO MORE RABBITS!" XD I mean 3 is not a lot, especially in my huge house. And I have enough time, I don't do sports in school, and I love animals, and I plan to be a vetrinarian. So it's not too many, my mom just gets mad cause everytime I see a rabbit, I teasingly go "I want that bun " XD

But yeah, he is super sweet, especially seeing as he's not neutered yet. I expected him to be a little more fiesty when I heard he wasn't fixed yet.. but yeah.

Whoever surrendered him (he was a surrender).. their loss!

gorgeous, he looks just like our Peter (Petey). We keep warning everyone that bunnies are addictive.

Just curious -why not bond him with the other two? My flemish giant Tiny was bonded with two different lionhead girls at various times in his life - and he loved to be around other rabbits as long as they weren't bucks.

Forgot to add - he's adorable...he reminds me of my Mercury!

That first pic makes him look like a big grey, fuzzy version of Riley. They're so cuddly!

I'm not sure the weight is a big problem with humping since Pancake is half Riley's weight, and he humped her rather vigeriously. On the other hand, Pancake's back muscle is as wide as Riley's, so maybe she's exceptionally strong.

He is adorable isn't he? He's such a sweetie, he loves everyone (though me the most- he does the love dance around me ) and definitely gunna be a snuggler~! I wanted a flemie so baddd XD You'll get one some day :3

Aww Yeah he does! Your Riley looks like a Solara x Silas
And are you sure? Your buns (I looked at your blog) don't look like they have as much as a size difference as Silas and Solara/Sabriel..

And today, I found out how much Sabriel dislikes Silas XD

Since Silas isn't litterboxed trained, he cannot be in his pen unsupervised... I go in there with him.

He didthe love dance all around me...

... and Sabriel took notice!

Sabriel's tail went up aggressively, and he chased Solara intothe cage, before going to the edge of his own pen, eyes angrily on Silas, as if saying "That's my momma!". He was SOOO mad!

And then my best friend, Bree goes to the edge of the pen, and tries to pet him (telling him to calm down, lol) and sweet little Sabriel tries to bite her!

I don't think they'd get along
