Eye seems to have cleared up...and the babies are happy as ever.

Nope no mucus, and only a little crust. The eyelid seems a little swollen but is open now. I wiped with some warm water and cloth and he seemed none the worst (even fell asleep!). I'll keep checking him daily--and let you all know his progress

The little one's eye looks better and is open now. The other one doesn't seem to have any mucus whatsoever. Keep in mind I haven't done anything yet!

They are 17 days old. I'll call my vet. Thanks so much everyone!

thanks so much. He had no symptoms like that. He was fine until that morning. He ate and drank normally. When I discovered him, he was just lying down as if sleeping and when I picked him up he seemed dis coordinated and limp. He kicked up a fuss for a little while and then lay back down...

:wave: Hello again all! I've heard that Cod Liver oil in small doses provide both young and old rabbits with needed vitamins and promotes all around good health. Now, I've never tried it and I'd like to know if anyone has experience or research on the matter; thanks in advance!:biggrin:

Just an update----I was unable to visit a vet with the little one, but contacted him anyway. He recommended I use a few drops of vinegar in the bunny's water and keep it separated from the rest (in case its an infection and not just food related). The little one began making regular pellets...
