    Baby Rabbit Eye Problem

Checked him this morning-----the eye is more visible(but the eyelid is still a little wavy). A little bit of crust (less than yesterday). The other one seems normal. Does anybody know what could be the cause? Rabbits are in suspended cages outdoors with adequate roofing. Sides of the shed are...

    Baby Rabbit Eye Problem

Nope no mucus, and only a little crust. The eyelid seems a little swollen but is open now. I wiped with some warm water and cloth and he seemed none the worst (even fell asleep!). I'll keep checking him daily--and let you all know his progress

    Baby Rabbit Eye Problem

The little one's eye looks better and is open now. The other one doesn't seem to have any mucus whatsoever. Keep in mind I haven't done anything yet!

    Baby Rabbit Eye Problem

My bunny(Lashes)had babies on the 01.06.2012. All of their eyes have opened except for one kitt (only one of his eyes opened fully)while the other is still closed and covered in yellowish mucus. The eyelid also seems distorted/wavy as opposed to being just a line. Is there something I can do...

    Very sick bunny.

thanks so much. He had no symptoms like that. He was fine until that morning. He ate and drank normally. When I discovered him, he was just lying down as if sleeping and when I picked him up he seemed dis coordinated and limp. He kicked up a fuss for a little while and then lay back down...

    Very sick bunny.

One of my 2 month olds has gotten very lethargic and sluggish. He was unable to walk and was only rolling over convulsively this morning. He was not eating or drinking. Now his head leans to one side and now he only lies there barely breathing. I've separated him from the others (who seem...

    Little bunny diarreah

It was plain white vinegar (from molasses). The vet said any type would work just as well. He suggested that the bunnies may be over-eating (apparently a sudden increase/decrease in food would shock their system and cause mild diarrhoea) and were getting the runs because that. I had...

Cod Liver Oil Good for Bunnies?

 Hello again all! I've heard that Cod Liver oil in small doses provide both young and old rabbits with needed vitamins and promotes all around good health. Now, I've never tried it and I'd like to know if anyone has experience or research on the matter; thanks in advance!

    Little bunny diarreah

Just an update----I was unable to visit a vet with the little one, but contacted him anyway. He recommended I use a few drops of vinegar in the bunny's water and keep it separated from the rest (in case its an infection and not just food related). The little one began making regular pellets...
