    Weaned too soon?

This is the best I can get at the moment. He sticks to me like glue and gets freaked out if he isn't right up next to one of my body parts.

    Weaned too soon?

No idea how old he is exactly. His first vet appointment isn't until two weeks from now. He gets unlimited hay and pellets right now. But he is tiny.

    Weaned too soon?

Okay I'm glad training is possible! I have been doing the 'no' firmly and loudly. It has only been two days so I have no introduced him to his future companion yet. As for toys he has TONS. I tend to spoil my fur babies so he has no shortage of things to do. I am a stay at home mom so he gets...

    Weaned too soon?

So the bun that I had rescued appears to have been weaned too soon. He will dig and bite at my clothes and will nip or bite at my fingers and flesh as often as he can. He eats pellets and hay just fine as well as drinks water often. Is this behaviour just from being taken from his mom too...

    Baby bun help!

Oh that is fantastic info!! Thank you so so much!!! I know to start off super slow. Just like I would introducing my adult bun to new fresh foods. Well I think I'm going to have a pretty happy baby on my hands today! :)

    Baby bun help!

So I know a new baby isn't supposed to have veggies. At what age can I start introducing them? Rescued a new babe yesterday and I think he is about a month and a half old? Right now he is super content with the hay and pellets, but I just want to make sure I get my schedule right

    Shedding! Ack!

Okay. So my bun has recently started shedding. And I mean SHEDDING! Now, he haaaates to be brushed. Or handled for that matter haha! Any tips on how to help the process along without A) totally stressing him out, and B) making sure too much doesn't end up in his digestive tract. Thanks...

    Starving?

Thanks so much for the responses everyone! He is just about two, and weighs just a hair under 4 pounds (he is a lion head) he has a litter box, two hay racks and two toilet paper tubes of hay so no worries about not having enough haha! Glad Stormy isn't the only Bun who goes coo coo for...

    Starving?

Oh he is very healthy. No worms, great weight for his breed (took him to the vet myself) The vet wasn't too sure though what his meals should look like pellet wise (it is hard to find a vet in my area who knows a lot about buns. Still searching!) so his amounts are based on research I have done...

    Starving?

So the bun I rescued recently acts like he is starving every time I feed him his pellets. I have him at 1/4 a cup twice a day plus his daily salads. Every time he gets his pellets he is basically inhaling them and sometimes even forces the feeding cup down hard when I am putting them into his...

    Litter box hay

Oh I am so not worried about the amount haha! I am worried about the health effects of him eating the peed on hay

    Litter box hay

He has two hay racks, both over the litter box. But the fact that he eats every single piece of hay in there really makes me think that he is eating even the peed on stuff! (But will turn his nose up to a sliver of cucumber haha!)

    Litter box hay

Is it normal for a bun to eat ALL of the hay from their litter box within a day? His litter is a layer of newspaper, a layer of newspaper pellet litter, and then hay. He seems to want to eat all of the hay from his box before he will eat any from his hay racks. Is this an unhealthy habit?

    Poopy paws
