    Our Buns

    Our Buns

I would also very much like critique on Diamond Shadow's Little Layla, as it has mostly been concentrated on Tres and Nibbles. She is our home grown doe and I want to know how she is turning out! Her ears are a bit long, about 2.3 inches, but she is still needing to completely grow into them...

    Our Buns

HappyFarmBunnies wrote: I completely agree, he will cost us about $400 JUST to get here from CA. He has already produced some exceptional offspring at his current home place and I am hopeful he will be a great producer for us. We aren't fully going to be working on BEW's, but they are...

    Our Buns

hillrise wrote: Tres isn't a false dwarf, he is also VM, so that is automatically a DQ. He is very small, but he is only a co-owned buck and we won't be personally breeding to him. He has a hunk of a head, and a decently-shaped face, but his ears bug the heck out of me. I have no doubt...

    Our Buns

So a few of you may know me from Rabbit Addict. I posted on here months and months ago asking about one of the kits I was considering getting. Since then, we have established a small rabbitry, co-owned with a friend, and will be raising quality pedigree'd Netherland Dwarf rabbits. I feel it...

how many females does a male need?

What do you do re: pet homes for your culls?

Our first litters are due in October. Our culls will be going as pets WITH a spay/neuter contract that they must sign before purchasing the rabbit. I cannot stand irresponsible people breeding rabbits!

    Finding Rabbits

bunnychild wrote: You're avoiding answering the question because you know you cannot. You get an animal, then throw all the responsibility onto your parents while you do all of that. Do you have the room and money to keep all the kits if they don't sell? What about if one of your rabbits...

    Finding Rabbits

What kind of bunny is my bunny?

It is definitely a Nethie. Not too quality though, HUGE ears, but still a cutie!

What kind of bunny is my bunny?

Korr_and_Sophie wrote: That is why people don't breed REW's to BEW's, REW is dominant so if you get a BEW, it has REW in the background and will produce REW and not the BEW like wanted

What kind of bunny is my bunny?

There's a reason ND breeders keep the non-showable vienna rabbits. BEW's are very hard to get with decent quality, so they keep nice quality VM's to breed so they can give their nice type to their BEW offspring!

    BF Little Layla

Here are some newer pictures of them both. I am really hoping that the black otter is a female, becausethat is the one we went with. It was the calmer of the two, and much friendlier. http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/198822_1918101882170_1530709215_32106164_6726476_n.jpg...

    BF Little Layla

I haven't met them in person yet, so I still have to wait for the genders to be deturmined. If the black otter is a female I am definitley going with her. Although she only has one solid paw, and the rest have white markings on them, would that be a colour disqualification in ARBA shows?
