    Alfalfa cubes

    Alfalfa cubes

Alfalfa is supposed to be fattening, no? I've been buying them for Romeo lately and he loves them. I've never had a "fatty" problem with him though, he stays really skinny, so I thought that the alfalfa would be good for him. I was wondering if I could feed them to two month old babies...

    Is this food any good?

Does anyone know how much per month it would cost to keep FIVE rabbits? I mean food- and bedding-wise. We used to buy extremely expensive petstore food for Romeo, but we found it was too costly. It was almost $20 for a really tiny bag. We downgraded to simpler pellet from Walmart. We give him...

Rabbit babies, two will be mine!

Thanks everyone. I actually was supposed to get Biscuit and Charlie (previously known as Charlotte) but when we figured that Charlie wasn't a girl, I either had to only take Biscuit or take both Biscuit and Bigby. I love Bigby, so of course I chose to take her instead!

Rabbit babies, two will be mine!

My friend's rabbit, Juliet, had babies! They're mixed breed, just pets, but adorable nonetheless! And, and, and I GET TO KEEP TWO! (Out of the three that survived). So far, they think there's one male, two females (but it's always hard to tell when they're so young). Their names, not according...

Neutering my male but not spaying the female?

I'll keep them out of the same room then. Besides, the babies won't be mature enough to breed anyway. By the time they are, he should be neutered.

Neutering my male but not spaying the female?

Aulyvia wrote: Thank you for your input. I wish I had an SPCA here and maybe that would work! I don't know of one that's near my area. My tiny town only has two animal shelters, both in which only take in stray/abandoned animals and have to get them spayed/neutered at the local vets. Only one...

Neutering my male but not spaying the female?

Colorguarder08 wrote: Why do you suggest this? They're not going to be in contact with the male until he's neutered anyway, so I don't really see the problem. And the babies are ready by April. 14th so I really don't have time to save up $120 to get him neutered AND buy a second enclosure for...

Neutering my male but not spaying the female?

Thank you. I plan on keeping them together until they're five months old--which seems to be the range of age where they start getting hormonal. I'll hopefully have enough to have them spayed by that time and can think about getting them done.

Neutering my male but not spaying the female?

My male rabbit had little babies with my friend's female... I was going to keep two of them if the two I'm interested in are females. Could I possible just get Romeo (my male) neutered and leave the two females unspayed and they'd all get along? Or do females fight amongst themselves too much...

    Best buddy for Romeo?

Romeo is OFFICIALLY going to be neutered. We called up our vet today and asked if he had good experience with it, and he does! I was really excited that I had an easy option instead of having to go out oftown just to have it done. I'm almost positive on gettinga female buddy for him, it...

    Rabbit Litter

This is their first litter. They did plenty of research but I'M concerned about everything being normal. My friend's rabbit had babies and she started pulling her fur(only tiny amounts)about two weeks before the due date was even near. Later on, she pulled plenty of her fur one day before and...

Looking for a buddy for Happy
