Could smaller cage make bun more aggressive

Flynn is currently in a xpen cage, set up to be 4x4, sometimes slightly bigger depending on how I put it in the morning. At night when he is most active I give him 4x10,basically just separate the room(he is set up in the kids playroom). He also gets some free run, but we are a multiple animal...

Do they do better in pairs?

Can rabbits bond with other pets, dog or cat? Flynn has no bunny mate because we don't have space for another and we wanted him to bond with us, but you often times can find him sleeping with a cat or dog. He stays in his xpen when I am not in the same room but the cats get in there and share...

How to know if he is eating too much and/or overweight?

I can feel his ribs and hips easily, when he is balled up u have to press a bit more but when moving and laying down it is very easy. I will measure out exactly how much food he is getting and put him on our human scale to get an idea. He was 4lbs at 4 months when he was neutered. I can't...

How to know if he is eating too much and/or overweight?

Flynn eats a lot...well seems like a lot. I find it hard to tell if he is fat, I can feel his ribs and other bones, but I am use to feeling dogs and cats so I wasn't sure if it was the same for buns. He eats one bowl of food, I don't measure it exactly just fill the bowl, it doesn't hold more...

What should pet sitter know in order to watch bun?

I am sorry that your bunny had gotten hurt..I am worried about leaving the rabbit, and I would hope a professional pet sitter would not do those sort of things...but I guess you never know. She said he daughter has a rabbit but that means different things to different people. I have a daily text...

What should pet sitter know in order to watch bun?

Thanks everyone. Flynn's everyday cage is a 3x6 xpen area. He usually has free roam of the whole room but they past week he has been banished to his cage for naughty behavior. The pet sitter has cared for my cats and 2 of my dogs before but this time we are boarding 2 dogs and taking 2 with us...

What should pet sitter know in order to watch bun?

We are going out of town for a little over a week and I am having a pet sitter come take care of our 2 cats and the rabbit. What should I have her do with him? He is very friendly but isn't around lots of people other than us, should she let him lout of his cage, take him outside to play? I...

    He walks?

My 4 month old Holland Lop walks a lot too. He hops when he knows the area but will walk in all new areas or when something new is around. He usually walks for awhile when we bring him out but then gets to hopping and jumping around. We do have laminate floors in our house...I do get out the...

How to go about getting bun used to the dog?

The dog is calm and really pays no attention other than a sniff in the air. When the rabbit was outside one day I leashed the dog and brought her outside and she could care less about the rabbit. Can rabbits tell size? All my animals except this one dog are small, they range from 5-40 lbs but...

How to go about getting bun used to the dog?

We have 4 dogs and 2 cats..Flynn doesn't mind the cats or 3 of the dogs. They all mingle in the same area and he actually comes to them and sniffs, he even nibbled on one of the dogs tails. I would love to someday be able to let Flynn hop through the house, but he hates one of our dogs. He seems...

    Is my rabbit lazy?

He was escaping over is pen before I removed all his stuff at night. Visitors have said he can be pretty loud during the night, but my daughter shares a room with him and she sleeps right through any of his noise. I was going to try to leave him out over night, but the first time I did he peed...

    Is my rabbit lazy?

Flynn sleeps all day long..I know rabbits are suppose to be nocturnal but geeze...I would really like him to be up during the day. I let him out of the pen in the morning, he hops around, goes under the bed and doesn't come back out until around 4 pm. My 4 pm and on are my busiest times of day...

Why does he keep peeing on the bed?

Thanks for all the responses! Flynn was banished to his cage for one whole day..he has not peed on the bed since then. I think he was upset that the inlaws were sleeping in there and his Fancy(my daughter and his best friend) wasnt in there at night and hadnt been spending as much time with him...

Why does he keep peeing on the bed?

We plan on getting him neutered as soon as he is old enough. Our vet said 6 months, guess we will manage this problem until he can be neutered. Thank you both for your reposnses.

Why does he keep peeing on the bed?

We have had Flynn for 2 months, and in those 2 months he has peed outside his litterbox 2 times. During the last 3 weeks we have been letting him have full roam of the room, he only gets locked up at night. He has also been getting an hour of outside hopping! Last night he peed on the bed, so I...
