    new x-pen

bummietime: We have a dog kennel which is 14'L by 6'w by 6'h. We put chicken wire on the floor (covered up with dirt), and wire on top. Then we put a pitched wooden roof covered with tarps. The tarps go down partly on the side. We don't want to take away any air circulation or make it too...

Feed or dont feed the night before getting spayed?

Serienty: When I had all five of my rabbits spayed or neutered, the vet said not to feed after 7:00 pm the night before. They were spayed early in the morning (around 9:00 am). I felt awful, but the vet knew better. I didn't want anything to go wrong. They all recovered quickly. Good luck. I...

Thank you for your information.Floppsy is going to be 3 in April. The other rabbits are 3(May) and 2 (July). I will check with the vet and I will see if my husband can buy a smaller bag of less protein and see if that helps. I will let you know if it makes a difference.

    Bonding Bunnies

:)So farI have been lucky that my two new bucks (3 months the 21st of this month) are still bonded. However, I put them in separate cages at night and when I am at work. I know when those hormones come into play, they may not get along. The smaller one (brothers) usually will mount the bigger...

:bunnydance: I want to thank everyone for the quick reply. I figured that would be the response, but I was hoping I was wrong. You were lucky in New Zealand, but I am not sure where I would house the other rabbit if they don't get along. I just now started to attempted to bond two of the...

Bonding between two young bucks (brothers)

If two brothers are brought up together and will be neutered when they are old enough, will they be able to get along. How about caging together. I had two males that I could put together in the exercise area and they didn't fight necessarily, but I had to keep an eye on one of them if they...
