VM Lionhead doe... rehome: NJ/ Philadelphia area

Yes, the picture JimD posted is of Willow, at 8 weeks of age. She is for the most part full grown now (still has some filling out to do though), but looks just about exactly the same as in that pic. I'll send you an email and we can chat.

VM Lionhead doe... rehome: NJ/ Philadelphia area

No, she is not spayed, yet. I understand that spaying her may very well help in improving her litterbox habits, and I fully intend on having her spayed in the near future, also in hopes of curbing some of her dominance towards Elmer. However, it is not even amatter of her messiness being a pain...

VM Lionhead doe... rehome: NJ/ Philadelphia area

I'm posting this here as I feel this forum is the best place to find someone knowledgable and dedicated to caring for my very special bun. I'm very regretful to post this, but I have made the decision to look for a new home for my rabbit, Willow. She is a VM broken orange, single mane lionhead...

    Elmer, Buddha, and Willow Blossom

So I introduced Elmer and Willow for the first time yesterday. (Elmer is neutered, Willow will be spayed in the future.. she's only 4 months old right now) Their first date went surprisingly well!! I was actually really nervous about introducing them. My hopes is to be able to bond them...

    Elmer, Buddha, and Willow Blossom

Thanks so much Susan! =) I use an Olympus slr... 8 megapixel... not sure what the exact model is, but when I look I will let you know! As of now, Elmer and Buddha both live indoors, and Willow lives outdoors in a hutch. However, Willow will be coming inside soon, before the heat of the summer...

    Elmer, Buddha, and Willow Blossom

Thanks Susan! I'm home from work today, run down with a nasty head cold... seems to be going around... so I figure I'll take it as a good opportunity to get a bunch of pics up! Here's one for starters. Elmer isquite the purist! (Of course, he really is just grooming himself) :P

    Elmer, Buddha, and Willow Blossom

Well, I figure it's about time for me to start one of these things... Let me introduce you to my little ones! I'll start with Elmer. Elmer Mazerineis a neutered BEW Mini Rex, and the first of my current bunny family. He was born in late April of 2008, making him just a little over a year old...

    My new lionhead... What color?

Thanks everybody! I love her so much. Vienna marks, sometimes also called sports, are mismarks born to one bew parent and one self or broken (non blue eyed) parent. Sometimes they have dutch markings, other times they just appear broken. They can have brown eyes, marbled eyes, or blue eyes.

    BEW-related blindness? worried!!

Well, she is no longer lethargic. Quite perky actually, hopping around, sniffing and exporing. However, I did find some loose stool in her cage this evening... wasn't quite diarrhea, however, it wasn't completly normal either. Flipped her over and she had a little bit of the loose poo on her bum...

    BEW-related blindness? worried!!

Tonyshuman: Thank you for your quick and knowledgable response. It didn't even occur to me until now that perhaps she could be dehydrated or ill. I just gave her a dish of water, and she ran right over to it. Honest to goodness, she perked up almost immediatly after drinking some water. Upon...

Bunny twitch, should I be concerned?

I'm not sure what to say about the twitching. However, the "random leap in the air" is called a binky! And it's a good thing... it's how an excited, happy bunny expresses its emotions! My male mini- rex will dart across the room at lightening speed, jump up onto the bed, back down, and then do a...
