Hi everyone 🙂
I made a really bad decision of buying a bunny from a lady I knew of through a friend. My previous bunny has been put down recently and I was feeling lonely but also ready to move on and give love to a new rabbit.
Her name is Lola and she’s a female lionhead and is so gorgeous...
My bun Bella was left out last night in my bedroom because she wanted to sleep on my bed. This happens a lot and sometimes she’ll sit and “groom” my face and nibble at my baby hairs....... but last night went a bit too far
I woke up with a massive chunk of my hair gone! She’s managed to chew...
Just snuggled up with Bella for bedtime and was wondering if anybody else lets their rabbit sleep on their bed?
Bella just tends to hop around, find a comfy spot- usually on one of my pillows, just above my head so she can give me kisses- and fall asleep peacefully.
Anybody else?
On Monday afternoon, the most devastating thing happened.
Baby Clover suffered multiple seizures and a heart attack. After rushing her to the vets, and 3 long hours of her holding on, she finally took one last breath and was at peace.
I wasn’t able to post about this until today as I still...
My beautiful baby Bella is now fully matured and she’s had her first (what I think is) false-pregnancy.
Was cleaning out the hutch today and noticed a huge wad of her fur in the corner of the ‘hidden room’ in the hutch. It’s the darkest area in the hutch and is sheltered from light and very...
Get some bunny-friendly blankets online to make the floor a bit softer too. Fill a box full of hay so your bun can poop and eat hay as they would naturally. Make sure the hay smells nice and fresh, as I've noticed my bunny is picky about whether hers is or not and won't eat it if it's been...
I agree with John, a non-fixed rabbit usually has smellier poops or urine to scent the area and make sure the territory is marked as theirs.
What are you feeding your bunny? I've found feeding mine kale makes her droppings smell really bad lol!
I recommend also getting a bunny-safe cleaning...
I would spend as much time as possible with him. If he's extremely anxious, I would recommend this herbal remedy spray I use for my 10-month rabbit Bella: https://www.vetimed.co.uk/en/pet/product/pet-remedy-de-stress-calming-spray-200ml/
Just try and make sure you let him scent the pen so he...
Hi sorry for the late reply,
I wanted to firstly explain the mother situation. I'm almost 100% sure the mother died and the seller doesn't want the babies back at all. She told me last week all rabbits MUST go and this is why I decided to take the 4-week old in case somebody with much less...
I brought home the most gorgeous 4-week old baby girl today. She was named Lola but after today's incident, I decided she needed more luck and named her Clover (after the four-leafed clover). She has one blue eye and one brown eye and is the smallest little thing :')
Obviously, I was...
