    How old were your rabbits before they actually successfully bred?

    My NZ Reds bred at 4 months, days before we separated them. One mom did an amazing job, but I think it stunted her growth. The other lost all but 1 kit. We wont breed until they're 6 months, but accidents do happen. And sometimes they may just not be ready.

    If you can get soft hay to put in the nest box, not the hay she eats. If it's too rough it'll scratch their sensitive skin.

    How cold is too cold for outdoor play?

    Rabbits LOVE cold weather. They do better in it than hot. As long as he's not out all day, and you may only want to take him in the warmest part since he is an indoor rabbit, he'll probably love it. Living in Florida we only breed in the winter months (Nov - May) because it gets too hot here...
