Yeah, I did notice they started moulting at about the same time the weather started to get quite warm, even the boys not involved in the bonding session. Thanks for that bunny mum. Individually bond them you think? Thanks for that too! :)
So, where in Australia are you from?
Oooohhhh, so it's the other way around? That would make sense. I have tried bonding them before but I didn't notice anything in relation to moulting. I do have another rabbit that is in a totally separate room that is moulting as well, but it is a lot more obvious in the two that were involved...
My Flemish also loves to be tranced and brushed! He also loves to eat and gets very excited about treats. He also flops and trances himself all the time, but what he loves most of all is to find a sunny spot in the house and laze about all day in the sunshine! Ahhh, what a life he has! It's as...
I have decided that I have way too much stress going on in my life right now, so bonding will be on hold until everything settles down! I did notice shortly after my last attempt though that ALL my bunnies are going through a heavy moult, so my question is, does moulting make bonding more...
Thanks for your help with the photos! An even bigger thank you for your comments on bonding!
Wabbitdad12, wow 12 rabbits in one room? That sounds crazy, and like heaven, at the same time! ;)I haven't put all my bunnies together yet but I will as soon as I get achance. Great idea about the...
NZminilops, you're not the only one! I mean, rabbits only eat grass, veges and hay, how bad could it be? They eat their own poo too....maybe the little boy wanted to find out why? I really don't think it could be all that bad. Dog poo is different because they eat meat and that's where you'd...
Girlzilla, well said! I wish people needed a license to buy pets! I also wish rabbits were really, really expensive to buy so that only people who truly wanted one would be able to, and that after such an investment, they would do anything in their power to make sure they looked after them in...
Bunnicula, yes I'll definitely put them in one room separated, I'm going to set it up tonight. Thanks for your advice!
Pamnock, sorry, I'm new to the whole 'adding pictures' thing! Not sure how to do what you suggested as opposed to what I'm doing. When I have some time I'll try and figure it...
I'm not sure but I had my house done while I had moved out temporarily and I washed the floors a couple of times before I moved them back! The people that did it even said it was safe for pets and children but I wanted to make sure!
Hi, fellow weirdo here!
Girlzilla, you summed it up completely! I cannot turn my back on a rabbit in need, so now I have four. I'd like to say I'd keep it at four, but.....
Does anyone know of any rabbit rescues in Sydney, Australia? I think I need this information as everyone I know is aware of how "bunny mad" I am, so anytime someone finds a rabbit, or knows of one roaming the streets, they contact me! I fall in love with all of them but I now have 4 rabbits and...
I just wet my hands and rub the carpet, then rub my hands together to removethe furfrom my hands. The fur kind of bunches up and matts together. I have to be careful though because I do get carpet burn if I get to enthusiastic when removing it from the carpet! There go my fingerprints!
Thank you so much for your replies! I am feeling better already!
Marach8000, I did take Binky and Casper to my mum's place to bond them and that seemed to be working until they both tried to jump through a small space, got stuck and freaked out and bit each other! My husband and I were fighting...
Hi, I apologise for not introducing myself first but I need help. I have four bunnies (not bonded), started a job this year (and will finish it this year too) that is taking up ALL of my time and have just decided to separate from my husband 3 weeks ago. I am feeling extremely overwhelmed and...
