Sometimes when I groom my English Angoras they open their mouths really wide, showing off their teeth. It kind of looks like a yawn, and kind of looks threatening (stop this grooming or I'm gonna bite a hunk out of you!). If these are just yawns, does it mean my buns are relaxed and enjoying their grooming? I can't tell if they hate it or not. Ideas?

I am not sure but I just wanted to say welcome and A more experienced member will come along soon.

My bun yawns all the time, but only during stretching - not while I'm grooming or anything.

I've never heard of buns showing teeth as a threat, so my guess is that it's relaxation or a reflex.
