this rabbit doesn't like to be inside, doesn't really like company human or rabbit, is very happy just doing his own thing, so to make him happy I need a outside cage for him, I am intending on weather proofing it with insulation and mdf boards for the bad weather, do you think this would be ok.

It looks fine, but since he will be full time outside and I don't know where you are, there are a couple things I'd add to make it more secure. Rabbits are really great at digging and so are predators so I'd make the bottom escape proof with either some wire or heavy stepping stones--no can dig in or out. I'd also put another layer of heavy guage small mesh wire on the outside so it is double walled and put more hinges on the openings so they are stronger and bolster the locking system too. Not quite bear proof, but it will slow up and stop all others.
